Our Vision
At DVMSphynx, our vision is to promote the health and well-being of sphynx cats through responsible breeding practices. DVMSPhynx is a TICA registered cattery founded by a veterinarian with the sole intention to better the breed and select for healthy cats and kittens. We believe that every cat deserves a loving home, and we are committed to producing healthy and happy kittens that will make great pets for families and individuals alike.
Our Process
Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our cats. We conduct extensive health screenings and genetic testing to ensure that our kittens are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. This includes, but isn't limited to: Annual HCM Scans, HCM Genetic Testing at NC State, Respiratory & Fecal PCRs, and FeLV/FIV testing. Kittens go home at 12-14 weeks of age with 3 sets of vaccines, microchips, and after being spayed or neutered. We also provide our cats with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization.

Meet the DVMSphynx Breeders
Venus was born February 2024 and came from a breeder in California . She is an odd eye calico standard sphynx.
Fleur was imported out of the Ukraine. She was born November 2020. She is a Seal Tortie Mink Standard.
Elfie was born January of 2021. We raised her in our cattery. Her parents were YoYo and Daphne. She is a a blue mink tortie elf.
CeeCee (left) is a black bicolor elf that we raised. Her Parents are Artie and Elfie. She was born in May of 2024. She is with Venus (right) in this picture.
BL is a blue tortie bicolor mink elf. She was raised in our cattery after breaking her leg as a baby-- she got it stuck in the wheel, but you would never know it now! Her parents are also Artie and Elfie. She was born September of 2024.
Karen was imported out of Russia and was born July of 2021. Her face says it all-- she is a black bicolor tabby standard.
Chanel was imported out of Ukraine and was born March of 2021. She is a calico bicolor bambino.
Zeus was born August of 2024. He came from the same breeder as Venus, though they are not related. He is a black bicolor odd eye Standard sphynx.
Walnut came from Illinois and Caldwell Sphynx Cattery. He is a blue mink standard sphynx. He carries the gene for "odd eyes", and we are so excited to add him to our breeding program!
Artie is the oldest King in the cattery. He was born April of 2023 and arrived from Florida. He came from Black Dahlia Sphynx and is quickly stealing the hearts of the Queens of our cattery. He has proven himself as a successful daddy and throws great color!

How it All Started
Sphynxie was the original DVMSphynx kitten. She was purchased to be the first breeding momma in June 2018. She was a seal mink standard sphynx.
At Sphynxie's One year Echo she was diagnosed with mild HCM. She ended up having one litter of kittens with full disclosure to new families.
Sphynxie was spayed and became a special pet in our family. She died of HCM at 4yrs of age, but will always be the reason we strive to reduce the incidence of HCM in Sphynx cats.
